Apps help parents monitor children’s Internet use As we know, smartphones are being used by a huge number of teens. Many apps have been designed to help parents monitor their kids’ use of the Internet.
A new app named Kytetime, which looks like Kytephone, help parents keep tabs on their kids’ activities on the Internet. If you are a parent, you can use this app in order to monitor call and text messages on your kids’ handset.
Recently, Net Nanny, a tracking app company, rolled out a browser application for Apple iOS devices. This app will help you monitor and control web content.

Net Nanny is also available for Android devices. This app is priced at $12.99. The app will help you monitor which apps your kid uses. For iOS devices, the app is available for only $4.99.
The company has also launched Net Nanny Social (this is a subscription service). This web-based tool will help you to protect your kids from problems like sexual predators, cyberbullying, and adult sites. The service has an annual subscription fee of $19.99.
Boston-based Playrific offers an app available to download free of cost. The app has a locked browser, which allows content that is fit for kids, including books, interactive games, and educational videos.

The app is compatible with iPad and Android. According to Beth Marcus, CEO at Playrific, kids will feel that they have access to the entire Internet, but the parents will know that their kids have limited access to the Web.
