Basically, Cogs is a game for smartphone and is about Cogs, as the name suggests. It is a puzzle game, and you have to slide different pieces around in order to solve the puzzle. There is a time limit and you have to get success in the fewest moves possible.
While the game has simple visuals, it still offers decent details if you enable shadows, frame syncing, and post filtering as well as set display resolution to 1280×960.

The metallic sheen, the puzzle board, and the wheels are pretty nice. Although, the textures are not very attractive, the gameplay is very enjoyable. The background is ordinary and blurry; it looks like the menu markers and moves could use a bit more anti-aliasing. But the markers have been animated quite well.
If you ask me, I won’t recommend you to set the resolution to 1280 as it will make the game more blurry; the pixels will be more visible on the screen. The game offers a couple mellow tunes that you can set as background music.
